Résumé

Alors que nous entrons dans une nouvelle ère d’innovation technologique et de changement ultérieur des instruments pédagogiques, il existe une demande croissante de méthodes innovantes qui encouragent les expériences d’apprentissage des étudiants dans des espaces virtuels en ligne. Les projets de portfolios électroniques et de livres électroniques sont conçus et détenus par les étudiants et sont centrés sur l’apprentissage de l’étudiant. Ils offrent un espace en ligne structuré permettant aux étudiants d'acquérir de nouvelles compétences technologiques tout en les intégrant intentionnellement à leur expérience d'apprentissage. Nous avons utilisé la plateforme de création de contenu Pressbooks pour que nos étudiants apprenants développent et créent leur « e-Book of One’s Own » (eBoOO). Dérivation simplifiée de la philosophie du « Domain of One’s Own » (DoOO), notre intention avec eBoOO était de placer la barre haute en matière de culture numérique requise pour démarrer tout en restant fidèle à l’idéologie incarnée de A Room of One’s Own de Virginia Woolf.
